This position requires a high degree of organization, communication, multitasking and a professional demeanor under the stresses of production and tight deadlines. 


    • Administrative duties relating to the company’s day-to-day operations. This includes managing production calendars and advising the team on approaching deadlines, managing the team calendar, scheduling calls and meetings, tracking outgoing/incoming submissions, and maintaining grids.

    • Provide production support on specific assigned productions, as directed by the company’s point person on an individual project and/or the project’s lead producer. This may include: creation of call sheets; pulling of script “sides”; booking studio time,  and arranging logistics for actors and producers; arranging for transcription of interview audio and archival material; updating scripts; creation and maintenance of production calendars; submissions and communication with distributors/partners; management of document versions, Dropbox and Google Drive project folders.

    • Conducting initial outreach to third parties for productions, including: interview guests, recording studios, production and postproduction personnel.

    • Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed as well as script coverage.



    • Attention to detail, follow-up, and strong organization skills

    • Strong writing and interpersonal skills

    • Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems

    • Strong command of Mac Office Suite: Pages, Numbers, Keynote, etc.



    • 1 year of administrative experience, particularly at an agency, management company, or production company.

    • Proficiency in audio editing — especially in either Audition or ProTools
